Anyone know anything about entomology (bugs)?
I moved into a new apartment recently and there are these weird bugs in the bathroom. I've never seen anything like them in my life. It seems like they're coming from underneath the sealing on the bottom of the wall we have a fully tiled bathroom The best description is they're about 1 centimeter long, really skinny, no legs, have the body and head of a slug, but aren't slimy. They take no effort what so ever to kill. Just a tap of some toilet paper and they squish into sorta of a greyish looking almost powder. Apparently, they're not poisonous b c my cat eats them yeah, nasty I know Also, I live in Germany. Anyone know what the hell these things are? And how to get rid of them?
Any entomology enthusiasts?
" Someone" is busily boring a nearly perfect, 1 4 inch hole on the underside of my step rail. I can see the debri from the excevation being pushed out of the hole and the tunnel goes at least several inches in a horizontal direction. We've always had lots of yellow jackets and I know they nest underground but can they bore through wood? I don't really want to kill if it's not necessary since the damage seems to be near done. Besides I don't mind nature but I've had some nasty run ins with whole swarms of yellow jackets and that can be dangerous. Also, there are neighboorhood kids to think about and allergic reactions.Anyone know what it might be and if it's dangerous?
