Question: Wierd red insects all over my windows and doors! help!?

I've just moved into a new place, but there are little red insects all over my exterior door's and windows, and little amber coloured eggs in the door frame. Anyone have any clue what they are? and should I get my landlord to pay for the extermination because they were there when i moved in?

Do you live in the south ,do you have golden rain tree's,if so they could be box elder bugs ,you need [cyper w p] . sounds fair the landlord should, but good luck with that .

Are they lady bugs? Go around with your vacuum and suck them up. Place what you've sucked up in a trash bag and place in the exterior trash container. Lady bugs produce by the hundreds. I think the amber colored eggs are feces.

I've seen this before, if you live near a tip (big huge refuse collection point for your town/ city) they'l have spawned from there. Unfortunatley you may have to wait for it to clear and it may get alot worse.

Sounds disgusting. Picture would help identify them. Yes, call your landlord and ask him to bring in an exterminator.
