Question: What year were the insect repellents first made: cutter and off?

Deet was developed in 1946...it was first sold to the public in 1957. You might need to contact the companies to see for sure. I can only remember OFF commercials as far back as the mid 60's, they may of been sold as far back as '57.

Hopefully not DDT; that stuff got banned a long time ago.
