How do you get rid of spiders that don't make webs but just kind of wander around your room?
I've started finding spiders randomly in my room and I'm terrified of spiders so I can never smash them because I freak out. How do you get rid of them without an exterminator or whatever?
Are giant house spiders poisonous? (uk)?
we have just seen the biggest spider it must of been the size of my palm. Huge big dense spider with a stripy abdomen. it ran pretty fast too..freaked us all out i managed to catch it but unfortunetly squashed it.it had the weirdest of white fluid come out of it? was that poison?seems pretty strange that we suddently get a huge spider within a few hours of shopping being delivered...obviously hitched a ride.
How to get rid of spiders?
Ok, I have a house in the country and now spiders are appearing more often. I don't mind the small little spiders. It's the big ones about 2 inches long that I'm worried about. They're not the daddy longlegs type. They look more like small tarantullas their legs look strong except they dont have hair and are dark brown.I would prefer not to use insecticide if possible. Any help would be appreciated.Regards,Oh, I forgot to say that I have a chimney and I would like to know if keeping a fire would help or make it worse or would make no difference at all. Thanks.
Have spotted light colored yellow spiders in the house, are the biters?
Light yellow, small and one was on the counter and when I grabbed what it was on it jumped off using a web line. I let it live and today when I came into the kitchen it was hanging from a web line above the sink. I shooed it back up the line, but am nervous about it laying eggs, etc. We have the little black spiders too, usually a no kill family, but yikes, spiders make me nervous
How can I keep spiders out of my guest house? Not going to use any toxic pesticides.?
I moved into a guest house in a yard recently and have been finding spiders every day. I've been spraying around a non toxic, essential oil pesticide mix and bought a eucalyptus plant.I've also bought a few praying mantis egg sacks..once they hatch, I hope will find and take out the spiders.is boric acid better than borax??

I've read various reviews about these plug in ultrasonic pest repellers, and some people swear by them and say they've completely banished spiders and other creepy crawlies from their homes, while others say they're complete rubbish.In particular I hate spiders yes, I know they eat other beasties and generally aren't harmful, but I still hate them, particularly if I see them and then they scuttle off behind things so I know they're there but I can't see them . I have been storing a potable dishwasher in my parents garage for a few years. I saw some sort of eggs attached 2 the cord. I'm not sure if there are any pests living in the body of the dishwasher. The inside is clean but i can't see the inner workings. I would like 2 use the dishwasher in my new apartment. I do not want 2 infest my new place with bugs. If I run the dishwasher will the heat kill the bugs? or will they leave the appliance?
How to use a spider catcher?
I am terrified of spiders especially the huge ones that hide and then run across the floor at lightening speed. We had great fun in our house practising with the plastic spider that came with the product. However I failed miserably when I saw my next monster taking a run across the carpet. I was almost too scared to approach but when I did using the catcher and extending the bristles I couldn't grab the spider as it had gone into a corner. I used the tool to squash him as I couldn't get hold of him and I was worried he would escape and then I could never relax . Is there a special technique to catch them when they go into corners or are these gadgets just gimmicks? The reason I bought it was so I didn't have to kill the spiders. Spider lovers say house spiders are not supposed to be put outside but I would prefer to do that than flush them or squash them.
I think there is a spider egg sack on my ceiling..can I spray it with poison?
Okay, I am terrified of spiders The other day I had a spider in my room and I got my mom to kill it, but then I come home from work today and there was another one of the ceiling She killed that one too,but I think that it might have left an egg sack in the ceiling I'm not sure but its white and where the spider was at.So if it is or is not an eggsack, can I spray it with spider poison?If it's not an egg sack then obviously it will do nothing..but if it is, will it kill all of the spiders?It's on the ceiling so no one can reach it soo help??
