Finding big spiders in the same spot...how do i make sure i don't find any more?
Almost every day for the past 5 or 6 days I've found a spider in the same spot. Each time it's 1 1.5 inches diamater I didn't get a very good look because I'm arachnaphobic and tend to run away from them... . They're always sitting inside about a foot above the front door. I know it's not the same one coming back because the previous ones have been killed. Why are these spiders always in the same spot and how can I prevent more from coming back?
How to get rid of spiders between windows?
I have spiders in my windows, I live in the basement of an apartment building, and the building itself has a serious spider problems, theres about 15 of them living on the entrance door, and no one seems to get rid of them. My living room window is covered in webs, and theres about 10 spiders living there, right now I have the window blocked off with my air conditioner but I want it out now, and I don't know what to do, the apartment came with this amount of spiders, and my bathroom window which I would LOVE to open has about 3 times as many as the living room, I want to know how to get rid of them easily...I'd suck them up with the vaccum, but wouldn't they come out? They're in between my windows, and no one has put my screens in....so if I don't get rid of them, they'll come in the apartment.lol, but won't they try and crawl out?
How do I keep spiders out of my mail box?
I'm not talking about daddy long legs or small spiders. These are big brown ones that look creepy and ugly. Could I drop in a moth ball or something like that?

Recently moved into a older house & have some spiders in the basement. No other pest problems. I went to the store & the spider foggers say I have to turn off all pilots & repeat every 2 3 weeks. Is there a better way without spending a fortune on Exterminators? Many Thanks

Why do spiders stop when they see you?
I have always been terrified of spiders not because of their legs, sticky webs, consumption of insects, or even their potential to bite or be poisonous. It is the fact that when they run across the floor and see you, they suddenly stop, as if challenging you to come closer before skittering away. I find this very creepy. Is there a scientific reason for why this is?

How can I kill spiders in my house?
I am terrified of spiders This has been a problem my whole life, but lately it's gotten much, much worse. I know it's best to just let them be unless they pose a danger to humans, but my arachnophobia has gotten to the point where I can't sleep at night for fear of a spider being near me. So I am looking for a way to kill chase away the ones that are currently in my house, and preferably keep them out. I've heard Lemon Pledge will repel spiders, as will some essential oils, and I intend to use them, but I'd like something I can carry around with me, maybe in a spray bottle, that will kill the spider immediately. If only for peace of mind so I can sleep. Also, it would be best if this stuff didn't harm the paint on my walls.Things I Have Tried Hairspray Works, but it takes a lot of hairspray before they finally stop moving, and the fumes get to me. I want to identify one I recently captured in my car, it was very distinct and I would like to know what it is. Curiosity is killing me. I have searched but have not found anything on the internet or library.It's body was approx the size of my little finger nail, black and it has fine gold lines crisscrossing it's back like some had drawn on it with a fine pen. To be honest I though at first it was a toy one, but then saw the web coming out of the back of it...I caught it in a piece of paper and released it into the gardenIt was found in Essex, UK
Could my flat be infested with spiders?
i have a bad phobia when it comes to spiders. all of a sudden for the past 3 weeks i have had spiders in my flat. small ones im not as scared of. but today alone my partner had to vacuum up 3 huge ones, all measuring around 5 or 6 inches a couple of days ago my partner killed a big one, and he killed two huge ones about a week ago on the same day. do you think i could have an infestation? what can i do? im petrified and my nerves are really bad.

XXL house spider , UK?
Last night i was getting ready for bed i saw one huge house spider in my bedroom It was 5" accross including legs , i had house spiders before but nothing like this. It seems they get bigger and bigger each year So after my screaming, my hubby run upstairs and he got stressed out too lol. So while discussing how to get rid of it, i noticed another one, even bigger on the opposite wall, omg we both run out of the bedroom in panic, it was like in some horror movie lolAnyway, i wanted to ask is there anything i can use as a repelent for these monsters I slept with the light on waking up every hour or so looking at the walls. Are they attracted to warm or cold rooms? xx
Spider removal, help me :(?
My 8 yo sis was having a sleepover when she began screaming, pointing at a towel that was slung over a chair. There was a good sized what I think is a wolf spider. It had very long legs so I may not be correct, but the coloring was very wolf spider like.So my mom is like, " Natalie you BETTER deal with it or I WILL kill it i kid you not " So I got a broom and was trying to knock it to the floor so I could scoop it up when Emma sis screams again, and I see ANOTHER spider dart towards the door So now there are 2 large spiders at the same time. I don't know what to do So my mom comes out and I realize she is holding Raid so I start telling her that she better not kill it the spider, but, before I could grab it she sprayed the second spider It was like writhing in pain and I was yelling at her to kill it and put it out of it's misery but she wouldn't. So i ended up sweeping it outside and crushing it with a rock against my will...I absolutely hate killing things, especially things that i love like spiders. So with the spider now out of it's misery I had another one to deal with. Well the girls found the spider this morning and I need to know how to get it out I suggested letting it stay as our laniai spider but my mom is afraid of walking out one morning and having it jump on her. How can I remove it without killing it??? If you are going to suggest killing it, DO NOT POST Well the spider is up high and it is EXTREMELY lethargic but not dead. I'm wondering if it got to the poison, so I'm considering just grabbing with gloves and a plastic bag. I feel so awful
