Question: How to get rid of spiders in my home without calling pest control?

You can't, not completely. You can keep them under control with routine cleaning with a vacuum and maybe some non toxic sticky traps. keeping clutter to a minimum reduces the places they can hide. Even the effects of professional extermination is temporary at best.

House spiders will always find a way to come inside which is their best habitat. Keep your house clean of cluster and keep it at minimum. House spiders like to stay around doors and windows so vaccum regulary.
