insertInside view of an emerging cage for lepidoptera. Made from a copy paper box with a fitted lid. Window screen is attached to the inside walls so that the emerging butterflies will have something to hold on to. As you can see, this cage has a lot of mileage on it. I used scotch tape or insect pins to attach the pupae to the side of the cage. Pictured are pupae of the California Dogface butterfly.
