Low-growing thistle attracts Speyeria butterflies
| August 2, 2007. Walker River area north of Bridgeport, California. It's a whole different ball game when hunting Speyeria in this environment. Unlike with the tall thistles, you don't see the butterflies on this low-growing variety until you are right on top of them. [Sony Handycam DCR-HC96] |
